Common Questions
Is WeekList really free?
Yes, by far it's free and open-source, distributed under GPL 3.0 license.
Where is my data stored?
Strictly on your device (in LocalStorage). We don't have databases or files stored on the server with your data. Only you can see your tasks online.
Is sharing with a link still secure?
Yes, WeekList uses stateless sharing. It encodes the content of the week directly in the URL. That's why it's so long, but safe from server-side leaks.
Do you have a mobile app?
It works as an app on your phone. You can "Add to Home Screen" on iOS/Android for a native-like experience.
Can I sync between devices?
There's no straightforward way currently, as we pursue a local-only philosophy. You can use any convenient cloud (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.) to sync exported MD files between your devices.
How do I backup my data?
You can "Export to Markdown" at any time from the menu to save a copy.
